Jenniferr Choose a language for shopping. And the battle of the s exes is a clever premise because it makes this book more about just one couple, but rather, also about the friendship between Hayden and her best friends. I expected him to remove his hand from my hip in revulsion at my outburst, but he kept it there. After the insults Nick and I had thrown at each other in public over the years, we would have been the laughingstock of the school if we really fell for each other.
Their friends are great and add so much to the story. Thereon continues the struggle of Hayden to conquer her fear, and make up with Nick.

I liked the chapter headings, each one a term from snowboarding and then how it applies to the story. The story was just ooohhh ssoooo cute and hilarious. I don’t mind the cartoon characters. Showing of 34 reviews.

Also, I know nothing about snowboarding, but doesn’t it seem the slightest bit unrealistic that all a girl would need to do to learn an entirely new skill category—not single skill, mind you, but skill ca When the supporting characters are all, ‘we’re totally feminists, but he wouldn’t have made such an effort to be mean to you for so long if he didn’t like you, so you should totally be thrilled that he’s now showing a shred of interest’ I liked the ending and the ‘big people’ perspective though that showed the growth the characters had achieved.
At one point, I even shook my fist at the book because several times throughout the book, it looks like they’ll get together and then something goes wrong and it all blows up and then they hate each other again. It definitely creates some great tension and a good reason for the characters to debate back and forth and give me that back and forth dialog I love so much.
