The book makes you believe in real life, that there will never be a perfect day, time, situation, people, and the situations that happen with everyone, and teaches you to take life easy. I personally feel that the author must have got bored writing it so probably, wrapped up the book rather fast and by taking the most logical path to ending the book.
Almost Single Reader’s Guide
Somewhere a clock is ticking, addvaita as far as Aisha is singlr, it can be cheerfully drowned out by laughter over a champagne brunch. Almost Single, a good morale booster initially for ‘almost single’ chicks, u get the drift? Hunting is no more a male prerogative. A few more details would have been good. It moves at interesting pace, and keeps one entertained – commendable for the first book of an author.

I know this is a fun happy-end kind of book but again, a little more story would have been good here. Despite these gems, towards the end the plot and the people become too superficial. Almost Single – a common state of flux for many Indian twenty-somethings. They are perceived as a group of hungry piranhas waiting to sink their teeth into any man. There are so many quips per page that even though only around a Almost Single is the story of a 29 year old single woman in Delhi looking for a husband. The protagonist, Aisha Bhatia is 29, single that’s a capital crime over here in South Asia belongs to a new breed of women who are trying to draw balance between their 5-star independent world of cosmopolitan life style and their orthodox society.
Bridget Jones is a good story, but Almost Single is better in a lot of ways. There cant be any spoilers cuz the plot is very predictable. There really is quite a bit of fun to be had in here.
This book is a complete hilarious with loads of fun factor. In what ways does it differ?
The tone is catty, chatty and the story is told in a more confiding, personal tone. I am having a hard time with this one as well. Urban Indian women can relate to this dream. At 29 she is not supposed to be unmarried.

aevaita In the early chapters, I didn’t feel this to be a novel in an Indian setting, I felt the characters, basically everything, is too westernized. Enjoyed the first half of the book very much. If you are a girl who is fond of practicall lfe and have the best set of friends and always dreamed of the love to come alive in your life then this book is for a grab.!
Their third friend Anushka is a product of 21 st century. I would’ve liked to see more of Anushka too – but her story did progress, which was satisfactory.

Would you like to tell us about a lower price? I get into phases and then read books specific to that style or genre. As for sitting myself down and writing, well, I can be quite obsessive and do one thing and nothing else, and then there are days when I would go nowhere near the book. I just did not like the way the book ended. Books by Advaita Kala. I loved her writing though. Forgot about it in a couple of days.
